Logical. Responsive. Sustainable... Knoll Equity.
As you’ve witnessed in the sample layouts above, Equity is one of the most versatile cubicle systems on the market, designed to accommodate today’s modern workspaces. Panel based 120-degree planning options help reduce ambient noise and provide privacy, while breaking up the traditional “cubicle farm” layout with dynamic angles. Ultra-low panel height options in benching spaces bring in more natural light and keep team members seeing eye to eye.
Shared work surfaces and common areas encourage co-workers to collaborate as needed. An open plan with mobile tables and seated height storage provides flexible working conditions for those who need movement. You can even leave out the panels entirely, and build private offices with freestanding Equity furniture components like surfaces, leg supports, and laminate front case goods.
No matter the working environment, no matter the demands, Equity can fit your needs.
Engineered for Durability and Sustainability
Knoll systems furniture has been engineered to stand the test of time, providing long-term value and dependability. With advanced manufacturing technologies and components with recycled content, Equity strives to be environmentally responsible.
Centerline Modularity
Centerline Modularity is at the heart of these modern cubicles. Each panel joins together with a universal, cylindrical, steel post connector. This translates into two primary benefits of the system.
First, a universal connector is a brilliant way to simplify the components of a modular cubicle system; why have four or five different types of connectors when just one type can do the job? Fewer parts mean fewer headaches.
Second, “centerline” dimensioning means that the connection post is incorporated into the width of the panels. In most other systems, the connection hardware is a component that adds inches of “creep space” at every connection point in the total office design. But not with Equity! These saved inches can really make a difference in a large cubicle layout.
Benefits of Centerline Modularity:
• Efficient space utilization
• Ease of design, specification and ordering
• Ease of installation and reconfiguration
• Reduced inventory costs
• Improved facility support
• Less downtime
Less is More
In any other typical cubicle system, the panels are 4 inches thick. The panels of Knoll Equity cubicles are a mere 1.5 inches thick, yet just as durable. This thin-style panel provides a modern edge aesthetic in a simple, functional design that conserves space.
Combine slender panels with centerline modularity, and you get an efficiently maximized office space plan that can accommodate approximately 10% more workstations compared to other cubicle systems. What does this mean for you? You can do more with less space, which can save you rent money.
