Their Monmouth Junction office space in NJ is a long, narrow open office space and they needed small office desks with drawers for over 25 employees. They wanted elegant, modern collaborative office furniture that would allow interactions and co-working, but still have independently defined work areas.
They were focused on light, predominantly white office furniture for a clean, clinical feel to the office interior. Other key elements to this office design project: a restricted budget and a tight timeline.
Based on the above requirements, we checked our used office cubicles inventories in the northeast to find solutions for affordable office interiors. We were in luck! There was a ready-to-go lot of 2’x5’x60”H Teknion white office bench desks with frosted glass desk top screen dividers.
Each computer workstation includes a desk-mount monitor arm and a white mobile pedestal with cushion. All NJ used office furniture items were preserved in excellent condition (especially for used white desks} and a perfect match for these specific project requirements.
With a majority of the space only 14’ across, our office space planner whipped up a fitting small workstation layout of narrow office desk clusters for 26 people. They shipped within the week, and we completed the office furniture installation the following week – ready to move-in!
