KEFF NYC uses state of the art equipment to manufacture “Made in America” designer fashion accessories & apparel. The company takes pride in contributing to social sustainability and keeping jobs on American soil.
We needed an affordable office furniture solution for their design studio in an exceptionally small office space typical of old NYC office buildings. Our office interiors team knew the best approach would be custom office furniture that we could design in non-standard sizes to fit the space perfectly, along with wall mounted office cabinets to save as much office floor space as possible.
We started by giving the employees 6’x6’ white L-shaped office desks with file cabinets on wheels. Why white…. Why wheels? In tiny offices, a white office color helps the space feel larger, and flexible furniture can make for a smoother workday by moving out of the way when you don’t need it.
For a pattern making and sewing station we designed a white wall mounted desk with storage cabinets above and below the counter height desk top – ergonomically suitable for standing work. The white laminate countertop is just the right size for sewing machines, and the white office cabinets keep all the visual clutter of colorful fabrics & finishes neatly tucked away.
The client also required nice meeting room furniture for a space used extensively for formal meetings and client presentations. We specified a white conference table people and a matching white wall of storage with space for media/tv. The modern office cabinets feature aluminum framed frosted glass doors for eye catching design flare.
Throughout all spaces, black office chairs with arms complete a classic black and white office design. In the end the client loved their new, white, chic office aesthetic.
