We delivered an innovative project for Alpine Union School District, transforming an open plan office space with large bookcases into a functional reading room design.

The challenge was to create a quiet and enclosed environment within an open office space while maintaining an inviting library design with an open feel. Our team played with some inspiring library room design ideas and leveraged modern office interior design principles to seamlessly integrate the new space with the existing layout.

To achieve this, we installed modular office walls featuring black framed glass office panels to construct the library enclosure. The system was strategically connected to the client’s existing wooden office bookcases, ensuring a cohesive and functional layout with structural integrity. The design included a framed glass office door to provide easy access while perpetuating the sense of openness within the enclosed office space. By utilizing modern office design techniques, we were able to create a sleek, visually appealing reading environment that blends seamlessly with the school’s existing decor.
