Harborside is a trusted national leader and knowledge provider in the world of medical publishing and communications for oncology. Physicians and medical professionals turn to their brands for accurate content, news, and education.
The publisher was planning a HQ office renovation and required office design ideas, space planning, and new office furniture in New York. They emphasized employee wellness and wanted to make sure their staff had functional office work spaces as well as flexible office spaces to relax and chat or collaborate over a meal or quick coffee break.
Based on the office square footage available we created a business furniture layout with 6x6 cubicles – the most common cubicle size. Working with the O2™ NOW cubicle brand gave us the advantages of a budget-friendly modular office system with simple components, fast production times, and the ability to match the woodgrain desk surfaces to the U-shaped executive desks in the private office layouts.
After keeping a reserved office color scheme throughout the private & open office space designs, we seized the opportunity to use Harborside’s bright corporate color palette in their swanky cafeteria. Bright green & blue booth seating sits across from glossy white square dining tables and chairs.
Nearby, 8 white leather and chrome bar stools encircle a trendy bar height conference table, which serves as a transitional element between the open office and breakout space. These high tables function as both hot desk seating as well as an informal meeting space.
As a versatile solution for team building, brainstorming, and beyond, training tables on wheels can quickly & easily support various table configurations to accommodate various types of work.
This was a great client with a great office interior design sense, and everyone was happy on office move in day!
