Talk to Me Technologies provides a type of assistive technology known as a “Speech-Generating Device” that allows people to 'speak' in a synthesized voice. They assist children and adults of all ages with communication differences due to diagnoses like autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, stroke and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Their comprehensive approach to customer service and quality products has helped them achieve a 96% client satisfaction rate. Talk To Me Technologies is a Medicare provider nationally in all 50 states and for many state Medicaid and individual private health insurance plans.

Talk To Me Technologies required an office transformation to efficiently accommodate their Funding, Claims, Trials, and Information Management teams, along with dedicated spaces for their managers. With a large office space to organize, they were looking for an Iowa office furniture supplier to provide them with a solution to implement a structured and uniform layout while ensuring cost-effectiveness and a cohesive design. Our approach balanced functionality, aesthetics, and ergonomics, ensuring that employees at every level had an optimal workspace to enhance productivity.

To achieve this, we installed 64 mid size cubicle workstations, providing each 5x5 cubicle with an L shaped office desk and a box box file pedestal, catering to the operational needs of functional team members. The Funding, Claims, Trials, and Information Management teams all received identical 5x5 workstations to ensure a coherent office interior design and eliminate hierarchy between teams.

For company managerial staff, we designed 18 manager cubicle spaces, each 8x12 cubicle features a U-shaped office desk with a box box file pedestal for office storage and medium height cubicle walls for slightly more privacy. These large office cubicles incorporated a peninsula desk for ergonomic comfort and provided additional space behind the desk to receive visitors for discussion sessions of informal meetings.

This project successfully merged modern office design with large office design ideas to provide an efficient and visually appealing workspace. The result is a cohesive open office space that fosters both collaboration and privacy where needed.
