L3H was looking for an office interiors design firm who could deliver corporate office design ideas and new or used office furniture in Columbia, MD for their NextGen facility there. We were ready to assist!
The office layout plan was simple, straight forward, and informed by the need to provide workstation desks for approximately 15 employees in the available 40’ x 30 space. “The larger the better” was the preferred cubicle size, and tall cubicle walls was the preferred privacy level.
The client was flexible and open to any cubicle system that met those parameters and could also offer significant cost savings, so first we checked our available inventories of used cubicles Maryland and surrounding areas. Finding the perfect set of used cubes in the right place at the right time can often feel like finding a needle in a haystack, but this time we were in luck!
We located a great pre-owned office furniture inventory of Herman Miller Canvas, with all the right cubicle parts to configure (14) 7’W x 7’D office workstations with 66”H cubicle panels. Each honey-toned laminate wood L shaped desk came equipped with an overhead storage cabinet, 36” lateral file cabinet, panel-hung paperwork organizers, and integrated power.
Not only were these used office cubicles a great match in terms of location and size, but also the fabric, work surface, and trim paint colors were ideally suited to complement the existing wall paint and office carpet. The stations were already in above-average condition and after our cubicle cleaning team was done with them, they were as good as new!
