Statement
Infogroup is a big data, analytics, and marketing services provider. This is a long-time repeat client, and we have valued the many commercial interiors projects and office furniture installations throughout the U.S. that we’ve completed together over the years.
For their new NYC office space, they needed full office furnishings including open concept office benching stations, traditional cubicle workstations with moderate privacy, private office L-desks, conference room furniture, break room furniture, and modern lounge furniture for an informal collaboration area.
The client wanted modern workstations with light, bright finishes, colorful lounge chairs, and large conference room tables with power and data capabilities.
12 Oxygen benching desks plus 18 AIS Divi workstation desks fill the open office space. Private office furniture comes from Pivit line: modern L desks with espresso tops, silver legs and frosted modesty panels, and matching round meeting tables.
We used a combination of commercial grade furniture brands for the lounge & café designs, including the distinctive retro furniture designs of ML office lounge chairs in colorful leather and stainless steel.
Our approach to the conference room design included custom office furniture tables in non-standard sizes (11.5’x4.5’ and 17’x4.5’) and a matching buffet credenza.
One of the biggest office space planning challenges in this project was working with the narrow passages, structural columns, and protruding pipes. With a few tweaks and tricks from our corporate interior designer we succeeded in creating a thoughtfully arranged office floorplan.
